Ground Turkey Vegetable Pasta

A healthy version of "goulash"

Cook Time 30 mins
- 1 lb Pasta shells
- 1 lb Lean ground turkey
- 1 Red bell pepper diced
- 4 Large tomatoes diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- salt & pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of water to a boil then add pasta and cook until al dente
Add ground turkey to a pan on medium-high heat until cooked through, then remove from pan and set aside in another bowl
Add olive oil to the pan and then the tomatoes, peppers, onions and basil
Simmer the vegetables until the tomatoes have softened then add the turkey and garlic
Let simmer together for about 5 minutes then remove from heat and add to a large serving bowl with the cooked pasta
